Barf's First Flight
Lessons In Helping Others

Book Description

Children will immediately be engaged with the originality of Barf's First Flight, the first in an adventure series that takes children around the globe. The "Adventures of a Sick Bag" book series appeals to the child's sense of humor in a different manner. Barf, a well-intentioned sick bag, desperately wants to help those in need. Barf's sidekick and best friend, Tiny the Tissue, feels the same, but the pair never quite arrive in time to help due to a series of ridiculous mishaps. A cast of endearing characters, including Snooty French Linen and Peppy Dot on the Spot, bring to life a moral virtue in each story; educating in children a compassion for others while introducing them to a world beyond their own.
Beautifully illustrated, "Barf's First Flight" will captivate young children, ages 1 through 8, with a charming cast of characters and their strong sense of fairness, courtesy, and good-natured friendship.

Children will immediately be engaged with the originality of Barf's First Flight, the first in an adventure series that takes children around the globe. Unlike much of the media influence aimed at children, the "Adventures of a Sick Bag" book series appeals to the child's sense of humor in a different manner.

Carolyn Newcomer, a mom for over sixteen years, raised her three children with her husband of twenty years. Through the years she has become a renowned expert and authority on vomiting issues.
Carolyn earned her BS degree from Chico State University and an Interior Design degree from Canada College. She has earned various leadership awards through her Juice Plus business, and she volunteers for charitable bicycle rides including the MS 150, America's Most Beautiful for Leukemia Research, and Breathe America for the American Lung Association. Carolyn resides in El Dorado Hills, California.

"Barf's First Flight is brilliant and full of fun expression, useful for teaching kindness to kids. Carolyn Newcomber expresses her core family values through her children's stories. Her creative work gives parents entertaining tools to instill important values in their children. Every parent who embraces the value of raising respectful, compassionate children will want to bring this series of humorous stories into their home."
